Joy, growth, and development on equal terms. This is a reality that we at Hemnovia constantly strive to achieve for children and young people in our community. At our office, family home consultants work with solid competence and experience in the broad field of social work. If you, like us, want to make a meaningful contribution and create a difference that truly matters – then we are the place you are looking for.
As a Family Home Consultant
With us, you will be part of a close-knit team that cares about the best interests of children. You will be responsible for a number of family homes where you provide support and guidance through continuous contact in the form of home visits, phone calls, and email communication in close collaboration with your immediate manager and the client. You will also be responsible for the recruitment and investigation of new emergency and family homes, as well as placements on behalf of the municipalities, and documentation in our own journal system. On-call duty is included in your position according to a rolling schedule. Welcome to a flexible role with your own responsibility where you, together with your team, create security and structure for the children and our emergency and family homes.
We are looking for someone with...
...a heart in the right place. You thrive best in a varied everyday life with diverse tasks and strong collaboration with colleagues, managers, family homes, and clients. We are now looking for several new employees and welcome both recent graduates and those who have worked for a few years to apply. For those coming directly from school, a thorough introduction with training and support through collaboration with experienced colleagues and managers awaits.
Our requirements:
• Educated social worker or equivalent in social work and care
• Good knowledge of current legislation (SoL and LVU)
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• B driver's license
• Experience working with children and youth is an advantage
