Take the chance to become part of a wonderful team with great drive! Here at ICA Matkassen in Hallstahammar, we work every day to get a little better and constantly test new ideas. In our store kitchen, we prepare around 1000 meal boxes a week while also preparing about 100 lunches for our eatery, Gretas Vardagsrum & Kök, located in the same premises. We work with our concept Härlagat, which is meant to be like home-cooked - but by us. We cook from scratch and take great pride in quality and feel.

In addition to the kitchen, we also have a well-equipped department for our own cold products. Sandwiches, sandwich cakes, desserts, potato salad, spreads, salads... a full-size display where we pack our Härlagade products for customers. Additionally, we are big on catering and offer sandwich cakes (our specialty!), various types of platters, grill trays, and much more!

Currently, we have several assigned cold kitchen staff who staff our department seven days a week. The department is currently staffed from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. To avoid vulnerability, we vary some cold kitchen shifts with work at our eatery, Gretas Vardagsrum & Kök. Therefore, the position includes some work at Gretas, in the delicatessen counter, as well as the main cold kitchen work. Customer satisfaction is our focus, and we collaborate across departmental boundaries when we feel the need. We are currently in a position where we are losing an employee who has been with us since 1998, and we are therefore looking for an experienced, calm, and efficient person who can be a pillar in the department. We plan to further expand our range of food and services and would gladly welcome an idea generator who wants to help us develop forward!

The position is permanent, approximately 35 hours per week, and includes varied tasks including every other weekend. You will work in a team of several cold kitchen staff and chefs driven by a leader responsible for the Cold Kitchen and Delicatessen departments. We can offer a developing environment, a fast pace, and a wonderful team to work with! The position is available earliest in mid-March and the latest appointment is at the end of April.
