As an Instrument and Automation Technician at our hydrogen plant, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing control systems and instrumentation. This involves monitoring, calibrating, and troubleshooting equipment such as level sensors, flow meters, and pressure sensors, as well as supporting the installation and commissioning of new automation systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation of the facility.

Your responsibilities:

  • Monitor, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation systems (level sensors, flow meters, pressure sensors) to ensure accuracy and performance in hydrogen production.
  • Install, commission, and integrate new automation equipment and ensure proper functionality and seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on automation and instrumentation systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with components within instrumentation and automation to maintain system reliability and minimize production disruptions.
  • Manage and monitor temperature and pressure systems, including heat tracing, to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize control systems and improve efficiency and responsiveness.

Who we are looking for:

  • Education (college or vocational school) in electrical engineering, instrumentation, or another related technical field.
  • Documented experience with automation systems and instrumentation in process industry or similar environments.
  • Competence in maintenance and calibration of level sensors, flow meters, pressure monitoring, and other key equipment.
  • Practical experience in the installation and commissioning of automation equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues in control systems and instrumentation.
  • Experience with temperature and pressure monitoring as well as working with heat tracing.
  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively manage urgent operational disruptions.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and standardized work processes in industrial environments.
  • Experience with maintenance systems and technical documentation.
  • Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. Swedish is a plus.
