Welcome to the Ear-Nose-Throat Clinic!

Here, as a nursing assistant, you have the opportunity to become part of our team with nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, medical secretaries, and administrative assistants. The Ear-Nose-Throat Clinic is a specialist clinic for patients of all ages. We conduct both planned and emergency outpatient services as well as surgical operations.

Most of our patients come via referrals from primary care but also from other clinics in the hospital, school health services, occupational health services, and through self-referral. Our emergency department is open during the day for patients with acute medical conditions who come via referral or directly to the clinic.

The clinic has its own operating room and recovery department staffed by surgical and anesthesia personnel. Here we offer surgeries under general anesthesia as well as local anesthesia.

We also have contact nurse assignments for our patients affected by cancer. We have a close collaboration with audiologists at the Hearing Center as we depend on each other's expertise.

We are now looking for nursing assistants for our clinic and our surgical operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Ear-Nose-Throat Clinic is a specialist clinic with outpatient and surgical services. As a nursing assistant at the Ear-Nose-Throat Clinic, you will be offered a varied job. The work is patient-centered, and you will prepare for consultations and assist doctors during emergency and outpatient work. The job includes handling medical technical equipment and instrument management. With us, nursing assistants perform their own examinations in the form of dizziness investigations. You will also have administrative tasks in the Cosmic journal system as well as functional responsibility.

Within the surgical operations, you will work in a team consisting of nursing assistants, doctors, and anesthesia personnel. In addition to working in the operating room, you will also handle supplies, sterile goods, and medical technical equipment as well as some administration.

In the autumn of 2023, we began work towards a more team-based working method and an improvement initiative regarding the proper use of skills. As a nursing assistant, you will then have the opportunity to work more independently in patient-centered work. The teams consist of different professional categories, and as an employee with us, you will be given the opportunity to influence and participate in developing teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has several years of experience in the profession. We place great importance on your personal qualities. You plan your work efficiently, have the ability to work independently within your competence, and have good collaboration skills. We value commitment and a genuine interest in doing good for our patients, and we expect you to want to be involved in developing the operations.

Interest and experience in ear-nose-throat and surgical nursing care is an advantage.
