Kriminalvården is expanding – we are building new facilities, renovating, and adding on, and we are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a production leader, you will have direct contact with our clients in the prison's production. In your daily interactions with the inmates, your work will contribute to their learning and encourage them to reflect on their situation.

After an introduction, you will be responsible for the daily operations as a production leader. You will plan, allocate tasks, and ensure that our deliveries are made on time. You will also participate in the production work yourself. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for production planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is secure, stable, and self-aware. You should have an easy time collaborating with others and possess well-founded and clear values. In stressful situations, you remain calm, stable, and controlled. You have the ability to make correct assessments and priorities. You have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and adapt your way of communicating based on the recipient's conditions. You should also have a physical condition that allows you to act physically if the situation requires it.

To thrive and succeed in your role, it is important that you share Kriminalvården's fundamental values of a humane view of humanity, respect for the individual, and the belief that people can develop. You should also be aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. We are looking for candidates who have:

• Completed upper secondary education in the form of final grades or a high school diploma (college preparatory diploma or vocational diploma. Foreign grades must be validated as equivalent to at least a vocational diploma and at least passing in Swedish as a second language 1/A)
• Good computer skills
• The ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
• A valid driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in woodworking or mechanical workshops.
• Experience from work in industry, preferably assembly and/or packaging
• Work experience in a supervisory role
• Experience in educational work
• Experience in motivational work
• Work experience in corrections, security work, social care, psychiatry, or healthcare and social services
• A valid forklift license
• Experience working with a focus on safety regarding both workplace and client safety
• Relevant language skills
