Center for Oral Rehabilitation

The Center for Oral Rehabilitation operates across the region with workplaces in Linköping, Norrköping, and Motala. Here, specialist dental care is provided in the fields of Occlusion, Endodontics, Periodontology, and Prosthetics. The operation consists of advanced clinical care, research and development, as well as education. To develop with us and the Public Dental Service, we collaborate with other specialist dental care providers in the region, with general dental care, with Linköping University, and with regional and national dental care actors.

We have about twenty general dental clinics with varying care landscapes and provide regional specialist dental care in the specialties of occlusion, endodontics, oral prosthetics, orofacial medicine, orthodontics, periodontology, and pedodontics. We actively engage in research in collaboration with dental faculties and Linköping University, offer specialist training programs, and work on dental quality development.

Job Description

The work includes all tasks of the dental nurse, both clinically and administratively, as well as advising in patient meetings and via phone. Administrative tasks are a central part of the dental nurse's work with us. Since our patients have significant treatment needs, a commitment to each patient is required. Collaboration and cooperation are central to us, and when needs arise, we help each other within and between our units.

As a new employee in the Public Dental Service, we offer you an introductory program for one year together with other new employees in our organization.

Work Group

The work group at Oral Rehabilitation consists of dentists, dental hygienists, dental nurses, administrative staff, and dental technicians. We care about maintaining good cohesion at work and collaborating around the patient even though we have different specialties.

We work in a region-wide center, which means that several of us work at more than one workplace. The clinic in Linköping is located at Torkelbergsgatan 11, where specialist dental care in Orthodontics, Pedodontics, and Orofacial Medicine is also available. In Norrköping, the clinic is located in the dental care house Druvan, where both general and specialist dental care in orthodontics and pedodontics is available. Collaboration with other work groups and flexibility is important for us to provide good dental care.

About You

We are looking for someone with a dental nurse diploma. A couple of years of experience in general or specialist dental care is an advantage. You should have good computer skills and preferably knowledge of Office programs. Since you will communicate both verbally and in writing with patients, relatives, colleagues, and authorities, it is important that you have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

For us, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and that you meet all people with understanding, respect, and care. You work in a structured manner and have excellent administrative skills. As a person, you appreciate a job where you can take responsibility. We place great importance on personal suitability.
