to apply for the job
Division Nära has begun a transformation to Close Care, where we move healthcare into the home close to the patient. The clinic is currently designing a specialist psychiatric care team, SPOT. Do you want to be part of the journey and develop the psychiatry of the future? We are currently looking for new employees! Welcome with your application!
We are looking for
We are now looking for you who are a licensed nurse with a B driver's license. It is an advantage if you are a specialist nurse in psychiatry and/or have experience working in psychiatric care and treatment. We prefer that you are familiar with office programs and have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is also an advantage if you have experience working in psychiatric care and treatment. Knowledge of record-keeping and additional language skills are also a plus.
We place great importance on personal qualities. To thrive in this role, you are used to planning, organizing, and prioritizing work effectively. You have good collaboration skills and value and see the benefits of working with others.
What you will work with
Tasks included in the SPOT team may vary but can include supportive conversations, behavior observations, anxiety management, phone follow-ups, working in resource teams around patients with complex issues, follow-up of patients from inpatient care, support for patients during leave, family conversations, collaborating with care neighbors and municipalities. SPOT works on behalf of doctors from inpatient or outpatient care. The purpose of the SPOT team is to provide more individualized care interventions at home in an outpatient form instead of within inpatient care. The goal is to shorten the need for inpatient time for patients and avoid admissions to inpatient care where the regular psychiatric outpatient level is not deemed sufficient. Care should be person-centered and adapted to the individual patient's needs, abilities, and well-being. The target group for SPOT is patients within the Luleå and Boden adult psychiatric catchment area from 18 years and older, whose care level is greater than what the psychiatric outpatient care can offer in the regular operations, but who are still not deemed to need 24-hour inpatient care. SPOT will be available every day of the year.
This is what we offer you
- Continuous training initiatives
- Opportunity for supervision
- Opportunity to influence the design of SPOT
- Development and career opportunities where you can help create the future of health and care
- Health-promoting workplaces with access to wellness activities and wellness grants

Information about the position
We now offer a permanent full-time position. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. Start date according to agreement. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
The position is within psychiatry: Based on the nature of the operations and security requirements, applicants to our operations must be prepared to submit a criminal record extract.
Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
We strive to have employees with knowledge of Sweden's national minority languages and therefore value your knowledge of Sami, Meänkieli, Finnish, Romani Chib, and Yiddish. We actively work for a balanced gender distribution and see diversity as a strength. We welcome employees from different backgrounds and work to make our workplace accessible to all.
