ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for a lively woman in Husum. We offer a position at 85% where we hope you can start the introduction immediately.

The working hours are scheduled between 08:00 and 22:00, and you are expected to work both weekdays and every other weekend.

The start date is according to agreement, and we hope you can begin the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a woman in her 60s who has previously had a stroke and has aphasia and diabetes. As a personal assistant, you will administer insulin, and before you start working, you will receive training in medication delegation. Furthermore, you will support her in communication, transfers, training programs, and common household tasks. Since she likes to be involved as much as possible, you should be attentive to her wishes and desires. She wants an active everyday life that may include cooking, baking, walking, and activities with the Aphasia Association.

The tasks are as follows:

• Assist with daily routines such as household chores, etc.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals
• Accompany on planned activities

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people and can analyze the needs of others. You should also be attentive, proactive, solution-focused, and engaged. We prefer that you are calm, talkative, and social. It is also important that you can work independently and suggest activities to perform. Personal suitability is highly valued. Additionally, the client is seeking female assistants!

• Access to a car

• Experience in care or experience deemed equivalent by the employer

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
