Fullstack Developer – AI-Driven Scheduling System

About the Assignment

We are looking for a driven Fullstack Developer for an exciting assignment at a fast-growing startup in Stockholm. The company is developing an AI-driven scheduling system that helps healthcare and social care organizations plan resources effectively, safely, and smartly.

As a developer, you will be a key person in a small but highly competent team and will work with modern technology, AI integration, and domain logic for scheduling, resource planning, and matching between employees and clients.

Your Assignment

You will:

• Develop and further enhance the system's backend and frontend

• Implement domain logic for employees, clients/visits, vehicles, and language/skill matching

• Design and maintain robust REST APIs and integrations (e.g., Timefold.ai, Carefox, eCare, CSV)

• Work on performance optimization, test coverage (unit, integration, E2E), and scalability

• Ensure that the solution complies with GDPR and SoL

Technology Stack

• Backend & Frontend: Node.js, Next.js (App Router, Server Components), TypeScript, React

• Database & ORM: PostgreSQL, Drizzle

• Auth & Organization: Clerk

• AI: Timefold.ai

• Quality Assurance: Jest, Playwright, Testing Library, ESLint

• Deployment & CI/CD: AWS EC2, GitHub Actions

Experience and Skills

We are looking for someone who has:

• Solid experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript

• Experience working with PostgreSQL and modern ORMs (preferably Drizzle)

• Ability to design and implement REST APIs with good architectural patterns

• Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD workflows

• Good understanding of modern React patterns and UX principles

• Experience with AI-assisted development (e.g., Copilot, Cursor)

Preferred:

• Experience with performance optimization and scaling

• Previous work with scheduling systems or similar complex domains

• Understanding of GDPR and SoL in technical solutions
