In the role of reporter, you will have the chance to help spread knowledge, information, and examine important societal issues that our readers will engage with. At the smaller local newspaper, you will get close to the stories that matter to readers while also being able to delve deeper and provide multiple perspectives. Here, you will work broadly as a news journalist in Motala and Vadstena, two fantastic summer towns where we cover everything from the Vätternrundan cycling race and concerts to municipal decisions and business news. We are also looking for reporters with sports expertise who are ready to cover everything from speedway to football.

As a substitute, your main task will be to write editorial texts and take photos for them. You will also report live and produce simpler video material. We work with a digital focus with clear goals where we always have the readers at the center. We offer you an independent job where you have great freedom to bring your own ideas. At the same time, you will work with engaged, skilled, and helpful colleagues who can teach you a lot. We are looking for someone with a strong commitment, an interest in local journalism, and a passion for telling stories that affect people's everyday lives. You are curious, flexible, can immerse yourself in new issues, and actively work to ensure that your texts capture readers' interest. You are good at making contacts, have your own ideas, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

You are creative and come up with your own ideas, and you are stylistically skilled. You have a good ability to make contacts and build trust with both interview subjects and our readers.

A B driver's license is a requirement as driving is part of the job.
