Assignment – UX Designer with a focus on accessibility-oriented design

An exciting consulting assignment is now available for an experienced UX designer who wants to contribute to the development of digital solutions within both healthcare operations and administrative support functions such as finance and HR. In this assignment, you will work through the entire user-centered design process – from needs analysis and user studies to requirements specification, interaction design, prototyping, and usability testing. The goal is to ensure high usability and a positive experience for different target groups within the organization.

The assignments vary in scope, which means you will be working on multiple projects simultaneously and collaborating with both internal teams and other competencies.

Assignment Information

• Period: 2025-08-18 to 2026-02-28
• Scope: 50–100% depending on available projects
• Location: On-site in Linköping, with the possibility of travel within Östergötland
• Remote: Hybrid solution possible (3 days on-site, 2 days remote in normal cases)
• Resources: All necessary equipment and documentation will be provided

Requirements Profile – Mandatory Qualifications

To be considered for the assignment, you need to meet the following:

• Post-secondary education in interaction design, technical communication, or cognitive science
• Documented experience in UX or interaction design, including usability testing and prototyping work
• Good knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and design with accessibility in focus
• Very good experience working in Figma or similar prototyping tools
• You express yourself fluently in spoken and written Swedish
• You are at competence level 3, which means:
• 4–8 years of professional experience in UX design
• Ability to take responsibility for sub-projects and support junior colleagues
• Strong independence and experience in driving parts of projects on your own

Desirable Experience

It is an advantage if you have:

• Worked with user-centered design in the healthcare sector or for healthcare-related digital systems
• Experience designing solutions for different types of users, e.g., healthcare personnel and administrative staff
• Worked with design solutions with high accessibility requirements
• Contributed to or built design systems
