Consultant Assignment: Data Engineer 

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer for an exciting assignment with a leading player in the energy sector in Stockholm. Here, you will help build the data solutions of the future that contribute to a more sustainable and climate-positive society.

About the Assignment

The assignment involves further developing a modern data platform built on Azure using Databricks. In the long term, a dedicated Data Science environment will also be established, making this a central role in the organization's data-driven journey.

You will be part of a smaller, agile team within Data & Analytics that develops applications for data collection, processing, and analysis. Here, you will have significant responsibility and great opportunities to influence both technical choices and working methods moving forward.

Start: As soon as possible by agreement

Location: Stockholm (hybrid option)

Duration of Assignment: Consultant assignment with a very good chance of extension

Your Main Tasks

• Develop and optimize data solutions in Azure with Databricks and Spark
• Establish and maintain infrastructure for data management and analysis
• Support the team in working with DevOps, CI/CD, and automated release processes
• Contribute to efficient and sustainable data management that enables data-driven decision support

Requirements Profile

Mandatory Qualifications

• Solid experience with Azure and data platforms in cloud environments
• Experience with Databricks and Spark
• Good knowledge of Python
• Experience in setting up cloud infrastructure for data teams
• Understanding of data modeling and Data Engineering principles
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and agile development

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools
