Since 2024, Dala Energi has been collaborating with Nordion Energi in a strategic partnership. Through this collaboration, opportunities for long-term sustainable investments and a more efficient expansion of energy infrastructure are created. Nordion Energi includes the companies Falbygdens Energi, Swedegas, and Weum. Swedegas and Weum are responsible for the ownership and operation of the gas networks in western and southern Sweden, while Falbygdens Energi supplies electricity to customers in and around Falköping. Together, we serve nearly 80,000 customers – ranging from industrial and business customers to energy companies, property owners, and private individuals.

Your responsibilities As a power technician, you play a central role in ensuring that electricity is delivered safely and reliably to our customers. You participate in all types of work related to both underground cable laying and overhead line networks. The tasks may include investment projects in the form of renovations and new constructions, as well as operation and maintenance efforts such as troubleshooting and various types of service measures. The role also includes customer-related assignments, such as new connections or changes to existing service lines. You will be part of one or more project teams together with other power technicians and report to the responsible project manager. On-call duty is included in the position.

Our expectations We are looking for a person who has completed the Electrical Program in high school or has another education with a corresponding focus. It is an advantage if you have a few years of experience working as a power technician, distribution electrician, or in a similar field. You have good computer skills and use both computer and phone as natural working tools today. For the position, it is required that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. A B driver's license is a requirement, while a BE license is considered an advantage.

Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have further education in electricity distribution, for example from a KY or vocational college. It is also a plus if you have valid certificates or diplomas for Work on Roads, ESA-19, Hot Work, Chainsaw, AMS-low voltage, or similar.

As a person, you are responsible and solution-oriented with a strong quality awareness in your work. You prioritize safety above all and always strive to deliver professional results. Your social skills enable you to collaborate well with both colleagues and external contacts. You enjoy working outdoors and have the physical ability required to meet the challenges of the job.
