As a DevOps Engineer at Upptec, you will have the opportunity to shape and further develop a modern, secure, and scalable SaaS environment in AWS. You will be a key person in building and improving the infrastructure, working closely with the development team to create effective solutions that support growth and innovation.

This is a role that balances operations and development, where you will both build new systems and improve existing ones. You will have the freedom to influence technical decisions and the opportunity to introduce new tools and processes that elevate the entire technology organization.

• Take overall responsibility for Upptec's cloud infrastructure in AWS
• Build, manage, and further develop CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure robust routines for monitoring, incident management, and backup/recovery
• Drive security efforts forward and ensure high security in our cloud solutions
• Work closely with the development team to create scalable and effective solutions
• Identify and drive improvements in operations, performance, security, and cost optimization

• Has a relevant post-secondary education
• Has at least 3 years of experience in a similar DevOps role
• Has experience with AWS
• Has experience building and managing pipelines
• Has worked with container technologies such as Docker, ECS, Kubernetes
• Has experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and good knowledge of SQL.
• Has good knowledge of both Swedish and English as both languages are used in internal and external communication

It is not necessary, but advantageous if you have:

• Experience in backend development
• Previously worked in a SaaS or scale-up company
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation
