As a family home consultant, your main task will be to recruit and assess family homes and provide support and guidance during the placement period. Your responsibilities also include coordinating and participating in follow-up and collaboration meetings related to the placements you are responsible for. You will also be involved in planning and conducting training offered to family homes.

As a family home consultant, you will work from home, and a large part of your job will involve travel for physical meetings and guidance in family homes.

Your role as a family home consultant also requires the ability to build good relationships with both family homes and other stakeholders involved with the placed child. You should be able to collaborate closely with family homes and contribute to creating a positive development for the placed children and family homes you are responsible for.

About the Company

Nordsunda is a company that provides consultant-supported family homes for children and youth on behalf of municipalities. The company started in 2015 and is well established but also growing. Nordsunda has framework agreements with the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions as well as several other municipalities across Sweden. Our headquarters is located in Umeå, and we currently have consultants in Västerbotten, Norrbotten, Västernorrland, and Gävleborg.

About the Position

Who are you?

• You are flexible, have a positive attitude towards challenges, are always prepared for changes, and have the ability to adapt to the current situation.
• You have good communication skills in both spoken and written form.
• You enjoy creating and maintaining good and rewarding relationships with colleagues, family homes, and other authorities you will come into contact with in your role as a family home consultant.
• You have a good ability to work independently. You set goals, plan, meet deadlines, are methodical, thorough, and follow the laws and guidelines that govern the work.
• You are engaged in your work, passionate about social work, and have the ability to listen, offer support, and provide guidance based on the needs of each individual, as we are careful to tailor our guidance to the needs at hand.

Requirements for Competence and Knowledge

• You are a qualified social worker or have an education that the employer deems equivalent.
• At least 2-4 years of experience working with family home care and/or other work within social services where you have gained experience from working in family home care.
• Driver's license B and access to your own car.

Information about the Position

• Full-time 40 hours a week.
• Immediate start, by agreement.
• Frequent travel is required for the position.
• You will work from home.
• Probationary employment applies, which may lead to a permanent position.
