ABOUT THE POSITION

Do you want to work with something that truly makes a difference in people's lives? We at Bättre Assistans are part of Inre Kraft and are now looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant. We are looking for 4 hourly substitutes who want to work as needed. If the match between you and the customer is good, there is also the possibility of a permanent part-time position between 40-60%.

The working hours are varied between day, evening, night, and around-the-clock shifts - on weekdays and weekends. Some hours are double-staffed with two assistants.

Here are examples of working hours:

  • 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
  • 06:00 PM - 08:00 AM
  • 08:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Start date is according to agreement, and we would like to see that you can start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CUSTOMER

With us, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the customer's life by supporting everything from daily routines to leisure activities, with the goal that the customer, with your support, can live as independently as possible. Since the customer has autism, it is important that you understand the importance of creating as predictable and routine-based a daily life as possible, and that you are open to learning to apply low-arousal work in your role. The customer enjoys, among other things, walks, listening to music, and watching movies.

The tasks include:

  • Support with daily routines, such as household chores
  • Assistance/help with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals
  • Guidance and support in everyday life

The customer uses communication aids.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

To thrive with our customer, you should be self-assured, a good team player who works well with your colleagues. You should be communicative and have a good ability to adjust your activity level according to the customer; at times, the work involves a lot of stillness, quickly switching to activities that require supervision. You should have a good ability to read other people and enjoy working preventively.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Very good knowledge of the Swedish language

MERITS

  • Experience and knowledge of working with autism
  • Experience in low-arousal approaches

Employment rate: Hourly substitute as needed, but with a chance for a part-time position of 40-60%

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
