Have you just graduated in IT or engineering and want to start working right away? At Axis, you can combine your technical interest with problem-solving in a creative QA role – with a particular focus on manual testing and system testing.

About the role

As a QA tester, you will be an important part of the team and ensure that Axis products are of the highest quality before they reach customers worldwide. This is about understanding the big picture, digging into the details, and conducting thorough tests to ensure quality.

You will work extensively with manual testing, both scripted and exploratory, as well as system testing in both Windows and Linux environments. The role also gives you the opportunity to gradually learn more about automated testing and test automation.

Here you will work with:

-System testing of Axis products in various environments

-Manual testing, both scripted and exploratory

-Analysis of systems and troubleshooting to identify bugs and improvements

-Close collaboration with development teams in an agile environment

Who are you?

-Recently graduated engineer or have another technical higher education/university degree (e.g., computer engineering, programming, IT)

-Curious, detail-oriented, and enjoy understanding how systems work

-Communicative and thrive in collaboration with others

-Interested in developing within QA/testing – starting with manual testing, system testing, and exploratory testing

Previous experience in testing is an advantage but not a requirement – we are looking for someone who is driven, eager to learn, and wants to build a career in QA.

About the Gig

This is a consulting assignment through Gigstep, where you will initially be employed by us with the ambition of transitioning to a permanent position at Axis.
