About us

In the Security Division, you will work with a dedicated group of colleagues with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and responsibilities. What we have in common is that we work to develop our long-term security efforts while also managing operational events and incidents within operational security and safety protection.

We are now looking for a security officer focused on security protection who wants to work with us and strengthen our team. 

You will be based at our beautiful headquarters in Stockholm with some opportunity for remote work. Travel may be required to other locations depending on your expertise. In this role, you will need to collaborate daily with other roles and operations, primarily within SOS Alarm but also with our customers and suppliers, which is why we place great importance on your personal qualities.

About the role

The role of security officer places high demands on security awareness and confidentiality, and you have previously worked in an environment where this is natural. You will be involved in managing and developing our work within the entire security protection area, primarily with security measures but also supporting analysis and development of internal processes. It is important that you want to work supportively towards the organization.

Your daily life as a Security Officer

• Processing and administration of background checks
• Handling of incident investigations
• Conducting security clearance interviews
• Contributing to the development of guidelines and instructions
• Contributing to the development and implementation of tailored training within security protection
• Compiling materials and reports within the role's areas of responsibility based on the organization's needs
• Working cross-functionally with other colleagues within the Security Division where needed and where our responsibilities intersect

We are looking for someone who has

• Education in security in the above areas, or relevant work experience that is deemed equivalent
• Knowledge of and understanding of the regulatory and/or standard requirements that underpin the above areas
• A good ability to communicate, build trust, and confidence
• High integrity and security awareness
• A knack for good structure, order, and tidiness
• Someone who is proactive and comfortable working independently while being motivated by collaboration with others

Meritorious

• Previously worked in a similar role
• Experience in developing and conducting training
• Stable and controlled. Ability to maintain a factual perspective on situations and focus on the right things.

SOS Alarm conducts security clearance with background checks on its staff according to the requirements of the Security Protection Act (2018:585). A check according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies is also performed and is active during the employment period. A drug test without remarks is a prerequisite for employment. The position also involves military placement at SOS Alarm.
