Your Role

As a quality engineer, you will be part of the Aviation Services quality team, where we are currently 20 employees working to develop and maintain the business unit's management system. We also provide the business with the roles of Compliance Monitoring Manager/ Quality Manager and Safety Manager for the business unit's permits for civil and military aviation.

Your focus will primarily be on the business unit's civil and military aircraft maintenance permits (EASA Part 145, TSFS, and SE-EMAR 145). The position offers great opportunities for development in a humble, competent, and solution-oriented team.

Your main responsibilities include, within the relevant permits:

• Responsible for evaluating new and existing suppliers
• Develop, administer, and maintain audit programs for suppliers
• Conduct audits with suppliers as well as internally
• Support strategic and operational purchasing in matters concerning supplier quality
• Participate in the development, planning, and execution of training regarding supplier quality
• Support the business in problem-solving and root cause analysis

Your Profile

As a person, you are humble and good at communicating. You find it easy to collaborate with others while being self-driven, structured, and proactive. You have a positive attitude towards safety culture and an understanding of working proactively.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of audit techniques and experience from quality audits
• Good computer skills and proficiency in the Office suite
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English
• Driver's license (B), as the position will involve travel within and outside Sweden.

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of civil and military aviation regulations EASA, TSFS, and SE-EMAR
• Knowledge in problem-solving and root cause analysis
• Experience working with purchasing quality and supplier assessments

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
