About the role

As an electrical designer with our client, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and technically challenging development projects within the areas of Energy, Industry/Product Development, and Process. The projects can encompass everything from the design of machines and electrical cabinets to electrical networks and system solutions for various energy sources. You will work with a wide range of voltage levels, from 3V up to 660V, and have the opportunity to provide technical inputs that place you in the projects where you want to contribute and develop.

The role means that you will be involved in the entire development process, from early stages to the product's commissioning at FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test). Depending on your experience and background, you will have the opportunity to work with leading product development companies as well as machine and automation-related companies.

Key responsibilities:

• Electrical design: Design and construct machines, cabinets, and system solutions to meet customer specifications and requirements.
• Dimensioning and selection of components: Responsible for dimensioning and selecting components, cabling, and electrical systems to ensure an efficient and safe design.
• Technical drawings and specifications: Preparation of technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Feasibility studies and investigations: Conduct feasibility studies, technical investigations, and analyses to ensure the functionality and efficiency of the solutions.
• Technical support: Act as technical support for both production and the customer, ensuring that all requirements are met during the development phase.
• Quality assurance: Ensure that the design work is carried out according to the customer's routines and complies with applicable norms and standards.
• Design review: Quality assure and technically review the design work against the original order and identify areas for improvement.
• FAT and SAT: Actively participate in Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test to verify that the finished systems work as expected.
• Risk assessments: Perform risk assessments and safety analyses to ensure the product's safety and functionality.

Your profile

To succeed in the role of electrical designer, we believe you have good collaboration skills and social competence. You also feel a sense of responsibility and commitment to your work and are used to driving your work forward. You have a burning interest in technology and enjoy challenges that help you and the company grow. You are skilled in electrical design and have a master's, bachelor's, or vocational degree in electrical engineering.

Requirements for the position:

• A minimum of a university degree in electrical engineering.
• At least 3 years of work experience in electrical design.
• English proficiency in both spoken and written form.
• Experience with Elmaster, E-Plan, ElproCAD, or similar.

Meritorious for the position:

• Work experience in electric power, hydropower, nuclear power, or wind power.
• Experience working with instruments, and/or experience as a service or industrial electrician.
• Swedish proficiency in both spoken and written form.
• Driver's license.
