We are looking for a system architect with deep expertise in C/C++ in a Windows environment and experience with technically complex, hardware-near systems. You are attracted to take a technical leadership role in an experienced team, where a stable foundation is combined with the desire to advance technology.

About the role

As a system architect at ISG Nordic, you will be a key person in the further development of our proprietary platform INTEGRAL – a proven and reliable system used by security-conscious actors in both the public and private sectors.

INTEGRAL connects and controls several parts of customers' security systems, such as access control, video surveillance, burglary alarms, fire alarm systems, and perimeter protection. The platform is the hub of our customers' security environments and is now being further developed to meet new requirements – both technical and regulatory.

Your mission

In this role, you will:

• Take technical leadership in architecture and design decisions
• Work with both customer-specific solutions and long-term product development
• Contribute to improved performance, security, and system architecture
• Support our development teams with structural and technical guidelines
• Translate customer needs into sustainable technical solutions in close dialogue with projects and sales
• Be a key player in our modernization of work processes, source code management, and documentation

Your profile

You are a person who likes to take responsibility, appreciates clarity, and thrives in an environment where quality and structure are in focus. You are curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy sharing your experience, but you are also receptive to others' perspectives.

We believe you have:

• Several years of experience as a system architect or developer
• Very good knowledge of C/C++ for Windows
• Experience with databases and API solutions
• Familiarity with traditional development models but also an interest in improving and modernizing work methods
• Good documentation habits and understanding of requirements management
• A humble attitude and enjoy working in smaller teams where everyone helps each other

Technology & team

We work in a stable and proven C/C++ environment on Windows, where much of the development takes place in Rad Studio. At the same time, we are in a modernization phase where we are renewing our processes for source code management and documentation.

You will work closely with our technical leads and developers on-site in Kungsbacka – where we have short decision-making paths, free parking, breakfast, coffee, and above all, an engaged team with deep expertise.
