Job Description

As an HSE Coordinator, your main task is to ensure that our work within health, safety, and environment (HSE) is conducted as efficiently and successfully as possible. You will be a catalyst for change, creating engagement and supporting the organization in HSE-related matters.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Administer incoming Aj & Oj reports, investigate as necessary, and ensure that responsible parties understand the issues by providing accurate information. Follow up on statistics.
  • Root cause analyses: Participate and document risk observations, accidents, and incidents.
  • Be responsible for following up on legal requirements within the work environment area.
  • Follow up and support the SAM work.
  • Conduct and document risk analyses with managers and follow up on action plans.
  • Plan, conduct, and document safety rounds and HSE rounds together with managers and management.
  • Participate in the development of new working methods and ensure that we meet the requirements from customers and other stakeholders.
  • Support internal and external audits and actively participate in the safety committee.
  • Daily management: Represent work environment issues at management meetings and support managers with concrete solutions and improvement measures.
  • Be responsible for conducting or developing work environment training and safety communication.
  • Assist employees and managers with cases to AFA and the Social Insurance Agency.
  • Participate in projects.

Who are you?

To thrive in the role of HSE Coordinator, we see that you have experience in work environment and safety work, preferably within the industry. Knowledge of legal requirements and systematic work environment management (SAM). Good communication skills, both in Swedish and English, and experience in engaging and educating others. Ability to work independently and drive issues forward.

Experience with the IA system, Ramboll legal monitoring, iChemistry, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 is considered an advantage. Extra merit if you have previously worked with risk assessment of chemical substances.

We prefer that you have post-secondary education in work environment and safety or equivalent competence acquired through work experience.
