About the Role

Since the position is a summer temporary job, we wish that you are available for work between weeks 23-35. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work days or nights, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

As a security guard, your primary task is to deliver safety at our customers' locations. You do this, for example, in a monitoring center or at an access control point. As a security guard, you have greater authority than a regular guard and often work closely with our customers' staff on objects that are crucial to Sweden's security.

The tasks are highly varied, and as a security guard, you can work both indoors and outdoors, at night or during the day. The length of shifts varies, but they are often scheduled as 12-hour shifts. Shifts will be scheduled on weekdays, Monday to Friday.

You will, for example:

• Handle matters within your assignment area
• Ensure that no unauthorized persons have access to the premises
• Staff stationary objects

Requirements

Must-Haves

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B
• Swedish citizenship

It is a plus if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• have an approved civil or military security guard training
• have an approved guard training

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and find it easy to understand instructions. We see that you, as a candidate, are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and meticulous approach with an eye for detail. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legal compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a comprehensive assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
