Your new role 

We are now looking for an engaged Project Forwarder for our client's logistics unit in Finspång.

As a Project Forwarder, you will be responsible for transport and logistics in specific customer projects, from order start to customer delivery. Each project is unique, and you will work with delivery terms, destinations, customs handling, and the overall logistics concept.

You will have regular contact with suppliers, transport agents, customers, and internal teams across many interfaces. The role also includes financial responsibility for delivery costs, procurement, purchasing, and follow-up.

Your responsibilities:

• Project management within forwarding to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries
• Development and implementation of transport strategies that meet customer requirements and delivery times
• Procurement, contract writing, and budget follow-up for good financial control
• Contact and collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal partners
• Planning and management of transport documents in accordance with laws and customer requirements
• Quick problem-solving in delivery challenges to maintain high customer satisfaction

You will be part of a forwarding department that handles all transport and customs assignments for new production and service. The department consists of 24 people, of which 8 are project forwarders, and you will have the opportunity to work in an advanced and developing role with a lot of responsibility.

To be successful in this role, you need to

• You have relevant post-secondary education in logistics, forwarding, or similar.
• Experience in logistics, import/export, etc.
• You can communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Additional language skills, such as Spanish, German, or Russian, are an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP is also a plus.
• Meritorious: Experience with international transport and customs issues as well as contract writing.
• Meritorious: Experience in project managing other resources.
