We are a cross-functional team that works closely together and takes joint responsibility for delivering functionality in line with our users' requirements and needs. The team consists of data engineers, PBI developers, analysts, and now we want to expand with a Master Data Specialist. We apply an agile working method and strive to create a data platform where reliable, traceable, and accessible data is a given for the entire organization.

As a Master Data Specialist, you will play a key role in establishing and further developing our Master Data Management strategy. The role is hands-on and includes responsibilities both as a Data Steward and as a driving force in setting up effective master data governance. 

You will: 

• Be responsible for ensuring data quality, definitions, and structures within our most important master data areas. 
• Act as a bridge between the business, our application teams, and the platform team to ensure that master data remains consistent across different systems.
• Take a leading role in projects to identify new master data domains and establish structure and management for these.
• Collaborate closely with application teams to support systems that want to consume master data, as well as contribute your expertise during implementations.
• Establish processes and tools for data governance, including cataloging, quality assurance, and change management.

You have previous experience working with master data, either in a Data Steward role or as part of an MDM team. You have a good understanding of how master data affects the entire data landscape and have preferably worked closely with both business and IT.

We would like you to have experience in:

• Working with master data within HR and Organization and are well acquainted with these processes.
• Defining data quality rules and managing data cataloging.
• Driving improvement initiatives and establishing data governance.
• Collaborating cross-functionally and communicating clearly with different parts of the organization.

It is a requirement for the position to be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
