Do you want to help people lead a more active life?

We are currently looking for an Orthopedic Engineer for our Children's & Youth clinic in Solna, which currently consists of about 70 employees. We are a highly specialized development clinic for orthopedic technical aids for children and young adults and are one of the largest clinics in the country.

Your responsibilities

As an orthopedic engineer, you will receive and assist children & youth with orthopedic technical aids. You will work variably from start to finish with several different types of aids, with the greatest focus on custom-made orthoses. We have a close collaboration with the treating team and, due to our large catchment area, we have extensive experience with orthoses for walking, standing, sitting, as well as improved hand function. When prescribing walking orthoses, we use a systematic approach facilitated by our gait analysis system with two cameras and a force plate. We also have extensive experience with therapeutic orthoses. Thus, you will have the opportunity to learn about orthoses across the entire orthopedic technical field and have close collaboration with orthopedic doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is a trained orthopedic engineer. It is an advantage if you have experience working clinically as an orthopedic engineer, but it is not a requirement. As a person, we hope you are service-oriented, communicative, and flexible. We also appreciate if you are self-driven, creative, and meticulous in your work. To thrive with us, it is important that you enjoy collaboration, variety, have an interest in digital technology, and like to work in an environment that is constantly evolving.

We offer

We offer a generous wellness allowance, employee discounts, access to a benefits portal, and a collective agreement pension plan. You will work in a values-driven organization characterized by high engagement and a focus on helping people by providing the best possible service. We largely utilize digital methods in our clinical work and offer continuous education and personal development. We also provide a development program for newly graduated orthopedic engineers. You will work alongside a tight-knit and friendly group of colleagues in an organization with short decision-making paths, where you will have the opportunity to shape your own workday. You will have a varied and meaningful job - in the end, you help people lead a more active life!

The employment

Full-time, permanent. Immediate start or as agreed. We have a collective agreement.
