The Montessori preschool Regnbågen in Älvsjö has been run as a parent cooperative since 1982. The preschool has three departments: Regndroppen for the oldest children, Snöflingan for the middle children, and Solstrålen for the youngest children. The preschool is located in a detached house with a large private yard in an older villa area close to both buses and commuter trains.

For us, it is important to put the children at the center; our versatile activities create opportunities for each child to seek knowledge and develop. Our activities are based on Montessori pedagogy and Lpfö18.

We are now looking for a childcare worker with an interest in or experience of Montessori pedagogy who wants to substitute for our colleague who is on parental leave. The position is a temporary role of 80-100% starting as soon as possible.

As a childcare worker, you will be involved in planning, documentation, and development of our education and activities. Together with your colleagues, you will always have the child's best interests in focus and have a strong belief that the child can and wants to.

We are looking for someone who has experience working in a preschool as well as experience with Montessori pedagogy. We expect you to have a positive attitude towards your work, be knowledgeable about what the preschool's governing documents say, and be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. You will work with your colleagues to plan, follow up, and develop our activities.
