Care and Social Services Administration is Hiring
The Care and Social Services Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly and disability care, home healthcare, and food services. The administration has over 1,000 employees. The largest group of employees consists of care personnel such as nursing assistants, personal assistants, nurses, and chefs. However, there are also many other professions within our operations. We are all key personnel, and our operations are characterized by employees who are engaged, responsible, and competent. Are you the one we are looking for? We are looking for
nursing assistants, care assistants, childcare workers, personal assistants, housing support workers, and supervisors.
Job Responsibilities
- You will work based on the goals of the Care and Social Services Administration where the person is in focus.
- You will work with personal care such as assistance with hygiene, dressing, support/help during meals, and activation/stimulation.
- You will also assist with cleaning, shopping, and laundry.
- It is important to remember that the workplace is the client's own home where respect must be shown and consideration taken for the client's integrity and well-being.
- Health and medical tasks may be delegated. This is determined by a nurse/district nurse.
- The work may be scheduled for day, evening, night, and weekends.
Qualifications
- Care program, child and leisure program, or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
- You are over 18 years old.
- You master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with clients, relatives, and your colleagues.
- You can document in writing what is required in the operations.
- You should be able to work with both male and female colleagues and clients.
- You should be able to handle a varying pace of work, have good mobility and physical stability, mental strength, good basic fitness, and otherwise good health.
- Personal qualities such as the ability to work independently, take initiative, have great patience, be attentive to others' needs, and have good collaboration skills. Significant emphasis is placed on work experience and personal suitability.
- You should be flexible regarding working hours as the work may be scheduled for day, evening, night, and weekends. You should also be flexible as changing workplaces may be relevant on certain days.
- Good computer and mobile skills.
- Driver's license is required in home care and some other operations since work occurs throughout the municipality.
- Bank ID is required in personal assistance.
- We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Other
To work with children and youth, you must present an extract from the police criminal record §9. The extract will be requested if employment becomes relevant.
Employment Conditions
Hourly employment. Intermittent employment. Start date by agreement. Fixed salary. Please state salary expectations.
