About the Organization

Skarptorps VC is a well-established healthcare center in the Östergötland region, with a strong focus on holistic health and teamwork. We offer a wide range of healthcare services where we work transprofessionally to provide our patients with the best possible care. The team includes doctors, nurses, rehabilitation coordinators, dietitians, nursing assistants, and psychologists.

We are now offering a PTP position for those who want to work with psychological treatment in a primary care setting – where preventive, short-term, and solution-focused work is at the center.

About the Role

As a PTP psychologist with us, you will receive a broad and developing introduction to the psychologist role within primary care. The work is varied and patient-centered with a focus on:

Assessment and treatment of mild to moderate mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and stress-related problems. Short-term treatment interventions with a CBT focus. Collaboration with other professionals within the healthcare center. Participation in psychosocial teams and organizational development. Documentation in the journal system according to current guidelines. You will have an experienced supervisor and a clear PTP setup according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations.

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Have a degree in psychology and meet the requirements for PTP
  • Be engaged, flexible, and eager to develop in your professional role
  • Have a good approach and interest in working with adult patients in primary care
  • Enjoy working independently but also in close collaboration with colleagues
  • Have an interest in CBT 

Previous experience in primary care or similar settings is an advantage but not a requirement.

    Practical Information Start: As soon as possible by agreement Scope: 100% Employment: Fixed-term employment, 1 year (PTP position) with the possibility of continued employment as a psychologist. Working hours: Daytime usually 07:30-16:00 Location: Skarptorps VC
