Since the position is a summer temporary job, we wish that you are available to work between weeks 23-35. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

As a security guard, your main task is to deliver safety to our customers. You do this, for example, in a monitoring center or at an access control point. As a security guard, you have greater authority than a regular guard and often work closely with our customers' staff on objects that are crucial to Sweden's security.

The work is independent and is often experienced as free, but with great responsibility.

The tasks are highly varied, and as a security guard, you can work both indoors and outdoors, at night or during the day. The length of shifts varies, but they are often scheduled in 12-hour shifts. Since we are an operation that is active every day of the year, it is common to work every other weekend.

You will, for example:

• Handle cases within your assignment area
• Ensure that no unauthorized persons have access to the objects
• Staff stationary objects as needed

Requirements

Mandatory

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B
• Swedish citizenship

Preferred if you

• have previously worked with similar tasks
• have a civilian or military security guard training
• have guard training

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and can easily understand instructions. We see that you, as an applicant, are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and meticulous approach with an eye for detail. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns compliance with the law, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may, for example, come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a comprehensive assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.
