Work as a Guard at Avarn Security

As a guard at Avarn Security, you will have an exciting everyday life where your task is to strengthen our customers' security and ensure a safer environment.

A patrolling guard works with preventive security. They are mobile and visit customers in their district/area to, among other things, check that alarms are activated, windows and doors are closed and locked, electrical equipment is turned off, and no unauthorized persons are present on the premises/area. Patrolling surveillance is carried out both indoors and outdoors, mostly at night, and shifts are involved. The work is independent and mobile.

During stationary surveillance, one works at the customer's location. This can involve everything from reception work to patrolling and manning security centers.

Job Description:

We have been entrusted by Råby centrum in Västerås to perform surveillance in the center. The work involves being visible in the center and collaborating with the center's stores to ensure that it is calm and orderly.

Qualities of a Stationary Guard:

You want to work with security-promoting tasks and have a natural ability to combine service with a pronounced focus on security. You are thorough and structured in your work as there may be some administrative tasks involving reporting to the customer. We are looking for security-conscious and service-oriented individuals with an inner sense of security and a natural drive to help. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as these assignments involve a lot of interaction with customers, tenants, and visitors.

Our general requirements for applicants are:

• Approved guard training
• High school education
• Drug-free
• Good Swedish language skills in speech and writing
• Good English language skills in speech and writing
• Driver's license B

Desirable Qualifications:

• Previous work in a public environment
• Additional language skills beyond Swedish and English
