The Opportunity

As a Hardware Designer within HVDC Service, you will play a key role in the upgrades of our HVDC facilities. You will work on the design of control cabinets that contain computers and circuit boards for measurement, control, and calculations.

The role is broad and also includes:

• Site visits and technical support to the workshop (FST)
• Creation of overview drawings.
• Process development and continuous improvements.
• Coordination with other departments and project teams

How You Will Impact

• Design hardware solutions for our control and protection systems
• Create layouts and circuit diagrams, including cable and component calculations
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure quality deliveries
• Develop working methods together with engineering colleagues from various disciplines
• Participate in international upgrade projects – see your technology make a difference globally
• Plan and organize your work in close collaboration with the project team

Your Background

• At least 2 years of post-secondary education in electronics, mechanics, or similar
• Experience with CAD tools.
• Analytical, precise, and solution-oriented
• Communicative, outgoing, and curious
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Experience from the electrical industry (e.g., electrician) is a plus
