About us

Humana Björnö in Norrtälje opened in September 2021. Björnö is a residence with a total of 60 places focusing on dementia and somatic care, also for people under 65 years old.

About the position

We are now looking for hourly employed nurses who, together with a cheerful and competent team consisting of care assistants, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, team leaders, HSL-responsible nurses/deputy managers, and managers, want to help develop and drive the work based on our values.

As a nurse, you play an important role in coordinating the elderly's total needs for health and medical care. You cover for the regular nurse during short-term absences or peak workloads. You work in a team with care staff, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, and lead and coach the staff. You collaborate with the responsible doctor, relatives, case managers, and other stakeholders.

Job description

As an hourly employed nurse at Björnö, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, following up, and evaluating nursing measures. You are also an important part of the development of the organization and your colleagues' skills, as you will also guide the care staff when needed. We are all a team with different professional categories who work closely with our residents and take responsibility for providing the best care.

Examples of tasks:

- Perform independent assessments, medical treatments, and nursing interventions

- Manage and follow up documentation.

- Medication management

Working hours and employment rate: Hourly employed during the day as needed.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting, other compensation according to collective agreements.

Start date: By agreement.

Who are you?

For this position, it is required that you:

- are a licensed nurse

- have knowledge of documenting in journal systems (ICF or VIPS)

It is an advantage if you have:

- Experience working in elderly care or home care

- Experience working with people with dementia

- Experience documenting in SafeDoc

- Familiarity with working in various systems such as Google

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden, as well as a criminal record extract.
