We are now looking for a dentist who wants to make a difference!

Main responsibilities and tasks

At Folktandvården Kärra, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs.

As a dentist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well received and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full competence while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a sense of service. Kärra is a clinic with 6 treatment rooms. Currently, a total of 22 employees work with us. The clinic's opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 07:00 to 19:00 and Friday from 07:00 to 17:00. We currently have a work schedule where you work late shifts two evenings a week. Starting from 2025, we will work one evening a week.

The position includes, among other things:

• Working both independently and together with your colleagues in the treatment room.
• Working with both simpler examinations and more advanced treatments and emergency dental care.
• Being the team's specialist in oral diagnostics.

Competence requirements and profile

• Licensed dentist
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a responsive manner

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored mentoring program during your first year.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic.

If you, as an applicant, have education/degree from another EU/EES country than Sweden and lack references, it may be necessary to complete additional theoretical and clinical work samples as part of the recruitment process.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.

The position is a temporary position with the possibility of extension.
