Job responsibilities

In the role of technical advisor in flooring, you will combine practical tasks with project management and customer contact. You will meet customers in various situations, such as during ongoing installations, claims handling, and training in flooring techniques, both internally and externally. The job also involves handling claims, conducting technical inspections, participating in test installations of new products, and performing material tests and quality controls. You will participate in the work with ISO certifications and support product managers and the marketing department with technical information. The role also includes developing and updating installation and maintenance instructions as well as testing certificates for the company's products. As a technical advisor, you provide internal support to the sales department, customer service, and product managers, and external support to customers, suppliers, specifiers, and consumers. This occurs via phone, email, or site visits. As part of the job, you will travel, primarily within Sweden but also to Norway about twice a year. In total, it is estimated to be around fifteen travel days per year.

• Practical tasks with project management and customer contact

• Handling claims, conducting technical inspections, participating in test installations, and performing material tests and quality controls
• Supporting product managers and the marketing department with technical information
• Developing and updating installation and maintenance instructions as well as testing certificates for the company's products
• Internal support to the sales department, customer service, and product managers
• External support to customers, suppliers, specifiers, and consumers
• Approximately 15 travel days per year

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Several years of experience in flooring technology, where you have worked with glued floors such as vinyl, linoleum, and/or textile tiles
• Knowledge of GVK, BBR, and AMA
• Good system skills, preferably within the Office suite and SAP
• Fluent in Swedish both spoken and written, and good knowledge of English both spoken and written
• Driver's license B

To thrive in this role, you need to be able to communicate easily and explain technical issues clearly, both in writing and verbally. You are comfortable speaking in front of groups and can maintain a calm and professional tone in various types of conversations. The job requires you to work independently, make decisions, and take responsibility for your assessments while collaborating closely with colleagues in different parts of the organization. Attention to detail and the ability to structure your work are also important as the role involves documentation, follow-up, and contact with multiple parties simultaneously.
