JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a service-oriented and responsible machine operator/construction worker for the street department. Your tasks involve external municipal technical work in Torsby municipality. You will be part of the municipality's emergency group for winter road maintenance. The position is varied, and together with your colleagues, you will take care of and maintain the municipality's facilities such as streets, recreational areas, parks, and utility networks. You will be based at the municipal storage in Torsby.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in street and water operations or other equivalent experience from, for example, construction and civil engineering. You should have a sense of order, responsibility, pride in your work, be technically interested, and be an experienced machine operator. You are solution-oriented and see opportunities in the problems we encounter. You should be computer literate and able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Certifications for chainsaw, brush cutter, scaffolding, work on roads, hot work, and a BE driving license are advantageous.

Driving License

At least class B and a driving license for a loader.
