The Munkfors Health Center is a smaller health center with approximately 4000 registered patients.

We have about 13 employees who belong to the health center, as well as about 5 – 7 employees from various units within the region. We collaborate closely and work cross-professionally. At the health center, we have general practitioners, district nurses, nursing assistants, psychosocial resources, medical administrators, and a foot therapist.

Munkfors is located in the middle of Värmland, on both sides of the Klarälven River, about 65 kilometers from Karlstad. There is something for everyone here. We have deep forests, music, festivals, or the tranquility of the Klarälven.

Your Responsibilities

As a foot care therapist, you will provide foot care treatments and wound dressings primarily for patients with diabetes. Medical foot care therapy is offered as part of the overall care and treatment. We have a close collaboration with the municipality's elderly care and other health centers.

Your Skills/Competencies

We are looking for someone with training as a medical foot therapist/foot care specialist (at least 20 weeks of training) or a one-year post-secondary education as a foot therapist/foot care specialist or equivalent education. It is advantageous if you have completed a basic and advanced course in foot care therapy in diabetes care and if you have experience working in a health center. Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite for the job.

As a person, you are responsible and have good collaboration skills. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in meetings with patients and colleagues. You easily adapt to changing circumstances when required. We hope you see opportunities in changes and contribute to joy and motivation at work.
