Department 26 is an acute medical care unit divided into 3 workstations with a total of 15 care places. The care team includes nurses, nursing assistants, senior physicians, junior physicians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech therapists. The department also employs a coordinating nurse and a nursing leader with whom you will work closely. This means that you always have someone to discuss questions with and receive support from in your work.

Job Responsibilities

We offer a job in a developing and challenging environment where you as a new employee receive an individually tailored introduction. You will be offered to participate in the Medical Clinic Falun's Basic Year. As a newcomer in the profession, this provides you with a secure start in your career. The Basic Year includes, among other things, allocated time for education, practical training, and supervision. As a new nurse in Department 26, you will be assigned a mentor with whom you will have regular discussions during your first year in the department. If you are an experienced nurse but new to us at the Medical Clinic, you will be offered to participate in selected parts of the Basic Year. We apply individual schedule planning.

Requirements:

• You are a licensed nurse.

Meritorious:

• Professional experience in emergency care or rehabilitation of stroke patients is meritorious.

Personal qualities:

• In your interactions with patients, you have an empathetic and service-oriented approach
• have good collaboration skills and a positive attitude towards colleagues
• are structured and can prioritize
