The department's mission is to work with acute situations and shorter hospital stays. The child/youth has a guardian with them in the department, and we actively work with the family and the network around the child/youth. In daily work, the pace is varied, and we usually have plenty of time for each patient. In our department, teamwork is essential, and we work cross-professionally with other professional groups such as nursing assistants, caregivers, social workers, and doctors. In addition to teamwork, the work in the department is characterized by commitment and attentiveness, where we always focus on the child/youth, which requires excellent collaboration skills from you.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us in ward 68, you will work with the most important thing there is, our children and youth, where you will play a very important role in the nursing work. Ward 68 is a shared resource for all of BUP Dalarna and has four inpatient care places. In the role of a nurse in our department, you will have overall nursing responsibility for hospitalized patients. You lead and distribute the nursing work in the department, and you will take significant responsibility and make decisions regarding the patient's care.

As a nurse, you will also triage emergency calls in the evenings, weekends, and nights. We strive to work every third weekend.

Requirements:

• You are a licensed nurse.

Meritorious:

• It is meritorious if you have psychiatric further education and/or experience from child and adolescent psychiatry as well as family work.

We are looking for someone who is both calm and engaged. You enjoy working in an environment with varying pace where you can utilize your flexibility and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, we want you to have the ability to handle even pressured situations professionally and to have a good demeanor. You have good communication skills, are positive, and contribute to good collaboration and a good working environment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
