We are now looking for someone who is passionate about sales, leadership, and customer experience for our store in Jönköping. 

About the role

As a store manager, your responsibilities include ensuring and following up on the operations of the entire store. You have significant responsibility for results and are also responsible for ensuring that the entire store works in a structured manner and meets the business idea and customer expectations. An important part of the job is to create a winning team with fully self-sufficient salespeople and an inspiring atmosphere.

Examples of responsibilities include:

  • Leading, developing, and inspiring the staff.
  • Responsibility for store sales
  • Optimizing store operations with responsibility for developing, following, and/or improving routines in a good way
  • Monitoring key performance indicators
  • Following the marketing plan
  • Performing minor repairs and adjustments of frames
  • Ensuring that workplace safety work is carried out and followed up
  • Scheduling and daily planning
  • Recruitment
  • Employee reviews
  • Store administration

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in a leadership position within retail and a store management education or similar. You have solid experience, knowledge, and education in retail as well as good knowledge of store economics. It is considered an advantage if you have previously worked in the optics industry and have an academic education in commerce.

You are a person who is driven to inspire and engage employees and create a positive work environment. You have extensive knowledge of the industry and good proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Your social skills and attentiveness allow you to easily pick up on customer needs. Furthermore, you are skilled at structuring, prioritizing, delegating, and analyzing. Of course, you are clearly focused on customers and sales and are driven to create good profitability through set goals. As a person, you are flexible, curious about new ways of working, and have a solution-oriented approach.
