Your new role 

We are looking for someone who wants to take full responsibility for the social media channels of a public sector organization during a leave of absence. As a consultant, you will play a key role in developing and managing the organization's presence on social media – with the goal of creating precise and relevant communication for their target audiences. You will be part of the communications department and work closely with a digital communicator. The role involves both strategic, tactical, and operational responsibilities where you drive planning and publishing as well as the development of guidelines, advertising, and internal skills development. Examples of tasks: Plan, coordinate, and develop the organization's social media. Create editorial content and ensure coordination with other communication channels. Lead and be operationally responsible for in-house advertising. Follow up, analyze, and report results from social media. Monitor trends in digital communication, legislation, and technology. Plan and conduct internal training initiatives within social media. Provide advisory support in channel selection and guide the organization.

To be successful in this role, you need

• Relevant higher education or post-secondary education in communication and media.
• At least three years of experience in broad communication work in larger organizations.
• Experience from a similar role, with a focus on content production in digital channels.
• Familiarity with coordinating or project-managing communication activities.
• Good knowledge of social media platforms and their tools (e.g., Meta, LinkedIn).
• Experience in producing audience-adapted content and finding synergies between channels.
• Documented experience in monitoring and analyzing statistics in social media.
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing.
• It is highly meritorious if you have experience in communication work in public administration.
• It is meritorious if you have knowledge of the DOS law.
