In elderly care, which is part of the Health and Care Administration, we start from the premise that all people want good care and quality of life with a touch of luxury in their daily lives, even as we age and need support from others. We work from a salutogenic perspective and our values. We support individuals in utilizing their own resources in a professional and respectful manner. We offer our clients security, dignity, community, and a meaningful daily life with a touch of luxury.

Kungsgården is beautifully located in the greenery of the residential area by Gröngarnsåsen. Nearby, there are forests and nature. The accommodation has a total of five units. One of the units has a Finnish orientation. The staff speaks Finnish, and we can adapt the food according to Finnish traditions. Two of the units focus on care for people with dementia.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant at Kungsgården, you will be a key person in our team. Your main responsibilities include:

• Providing personal care and support to our residents.
• Performing medical tasks as delegated by the nurse.
• Collaborating with colleagues and other professionals to ensure high-quality care.
• Contributing to a positive and developing work environment.
• Documenting and reporting according to current procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications and competencies:

• Trained and certified nursing assistant
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. This is required to communicate with our clients and document in our systems.
• You can receive delegated tasks from the responsible nurse
• You take initiative, start activities, and achieve results.
• You collaborate well with others and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve collaboration difficulties or conflicts constructively.
• You are self-sufficient and take responsibility for your tasks. You structure and drive your work independently.
• You are service-oriented with the interest, willingness, and ability to help others. You are attentive and accommodating in your interactions.

If you have experience working with individuals with dementia, it is an advantage, as well as previous experience working in a care home.
