Technician – Maintenance of Locomotives and Cars

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible technician who wants to work with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of locomotives and cars. You will work both independently and in collaboration with supervisors, performing safety-critical tasks with high technical precision.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, overviews, audits, troubleshooting, and repairs on locomotives and cars
• Work with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems using drawings and schematics
• Independently carry out electrical installations during replacements or modifications
• Conduct measurements according to standards and analyze results
• Document all work according to applicable procedures
• Report deviations in workplace safety, traffic safety, and quality
• Take responsibility for safe working methods and contribute to a secure working environment
• Supervise and maintain the workshop's equipment and tools

Responsibilities and Authorities

• Work according to established standards
• Ensure that your own work meets safety, quality, and workplace environment requirements
• Make decisions on maintenance actions as needed
• In case of uncertainty – always consult production management

We are looking for someone who has:

• High school education in vehicles, workshops, electrical engineering, or equivalent
• Good understanding of drawings, electrical schematics, and technical systems
• A meticulous working style and a strong safety mindset
• The ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive your area forward

Internal training in safety management and specific technical areas is offered.
