Nitro Consult is currently seeking to recruit a Group Manager for the Rock & Blasting Technology team in Stockholm. About Nitro Consult Nitro Consult is part of the Storskogen Group and is a technical consulting company operating throughout Sweden with roots from Alfred Nobel. Nitro Consult specializes in rock, blasting, and vibration technology as well as environmental impact. Nitro Consult works in all phases of the project from idea through feasibility study, system design, detailed design, construction management, and control up to inspection and follow-up. About the team & the role We are now looking for a Group Manager for Nitro Consult's Rock & Blasting Technology team in Stockholm. The current Group Manager, who is also the department head of the team, will step down from the Group Manager role and focus on their primary role. Nitro Consult offers rock and blasting technical services within foundation, infrastructure, and mining, with expertise in design, modeling, construction management, and inspection. The Rock & Blasting Technology group has a clear production focus and primarily works within construction management, production support, and consulting. The team currently consists of nine driven and competent individuals. The group is characterized by high competence, varied seniority, strong commitment, and great self-drive.

The work as a Group Manager will be a mix of leadership, business acumen, and consulting work. The work is a blend of field and office work, where you work closely with production and have many customer contacts.

Nitro Consult works with both private actors and municipalities and authorities.

About you

In this role, there is a strong focus on personal qualities. As a Group Manager, we are looking for someone who can contribute structure, develop working methods, and help drive in new projects. We prefer that you are communicative, decisive, have natural authority, and are quick in thought. You need to be attentive, calm, secure, and have the ability to both lead and create trust.

You are an educated geologist or engineer in civil engineering/road and water with a focus on rock technology/ground construction.

• We believe you have a background as a consultant, entrepreneur, or client with good production understanding and industry knowledge. 
• You should have worked with production management, construction management, or similar. 
• An established network within the industry is a significant advantage.
• It is also meritorious if you have worked with design in the system design or construction documentation phase.
• You also possess good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
