Do you want a challenging and rewarding job in a homely environment? We are now looking for a support educator for a temporary position  at our units Gästrike, Gotland and Lokes väg. 

About the role  As a support educator, you will work alongside your colleagues in direct work with the users. Additionally, you will drive and apply Nytida's framework for pedagogy and contribute to the design of personalized pedagogy for the users. This is to support the users in utilizing their cognitive and social abilities, strengthen their self-esteem, and enable a health-promoting life by acting as a role model and motivating them towards wellness. Together with other staff, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching, performing care-related tasks, ensuring pleasant premises, and participating in activities with the users. You will also guide and support staff in social documentation and implementation plans, mentor new employees, and collaborate with group leaders and the operations manager in development projects. You will report to the operations manager. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call shifts.

About the unit. All units are group homes within LSS and accommodate adults with diagnoses within the autism spectrum and intellectual disabilities.  There are 4-6 residents in the homes. Most attend daily activities during the day, but there are also individuals who stay home all day. 

Your experience and knowledge You are a trained support educator from a vocational college or have relevant university education. You have good computer skills, experience in documentation, and strong proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Additional requirements include experience working with the LSS target group. 

As a person, you have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people. You are responsible, meticulous, and enjoy working in a team. You are happy to share your experiences and support colleagues in pedagogy, documentation, and interaction.
