Are you a nursing assistant looking to take the next step in your career?   We are looking for a creative nursing assistant who wants to help enhance the quality of life for our residents. As a team leader for our night team and activity coordinator at Villa Riksten in Tullinge, you will take on a leadership role and coach the team in creating a good everyday life for those living here. This is a specialized role and the work is mostly during daytime from Monday to Friday. The position is a one-year temporary contract with the possibility of extension.

About Villa Riksten

Villa Riksten is a nursing home located in a quiet residential area in Tullinge. Here, 54 people with various care and support needs live across two dementia units and one somatic unit. 

About the role

As a team leader and activity coordinator, you have a fantastic opportunity to create meaning and joy in the daily lives of the residents. Your primary task is to plan and implement activities as well as lead and coach the night team in their daily work. In this role, you will:

• have personnel and planning responsibility for your work group
• be involved in developing and ensuring the quality of the operations in accordance with Vardaga's concept
• collaborate, exchange ideas, and share experiences with your fellow team leaders
• report to the operations manager and have the opportunity to influence through your participation in the local management group 

• lead our activity council where we plan joint celebrations, music events, and activities.
• support your colleagues in carrying out smaller activities on the departments
• be part of a network with activity coordinators in the region/country and keep yourself updated on the broader world
• be responsible for our social media
• establish contacts and develop good collaborations with local organizations, schools, municipalities, and volunteers 

Your experience and knowledge

You have worked for several years in a nursing home and have experience with night work. You are also:

• clear and create participation
• coaching and have the ability to motivate and create engagement among our employees
• skilled at giving and receiving feedback
• unpretentious and quick to learn
• independent and cooperative
• business-minded by wanting and having the ability to steer and follow up the operations based on quality goals and financial frameworks.

For this position, you need to be a trained nursing assistant.
