Front Office Manager at Scandic Star Lund

At Scandic Star Lund, in the heart of Skåne, we have created our own piazza inspired by the Skåne market trade. We are one of southern Sweden's leading meeting venues with conference facilities for over 400 people in our own theater and space for 450 dinner guests in our banquet halls.

We are looking for a Front Office Manager for Scandic Star Lund.

What does the role entail?

In this role as Front Office Manager, you are responsible for the Front Office where you have the overall responsibility for ensuring our guests receive world-class service from check-in to check-out. This means ensuring that you and your team always keep the guest in focus.

You lead and develop the operations and employees based on the company's strategy, goals, and local conditions. You have a passion for service and through your leadership, you inspire and motivate your employees while creating conditions for you to together create outstanding guest experiences. As Front Office Manager, you are also part of the daily operations and are responsible for planning and staffing based on the needs of the business. You are part of the hotel's management team, which means that together with your colleagues, you have an overall responsibility for the entire hotel.

You have previous experience leading others in a similar role as well as relevant education and experience in the service industry. You have good administrative skills, experience in financial planning and follow-up, and are comfortable working in various systems. You also need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
