As a part-time employee at Aleris Basal Home Care, you will be part of a central staffing pool that covers shifts at all units. The offices are located in Farsta, Täby, Sollentuna, Upplands Väsby, Bromma, and at Sabbatsberg Hospital. You are given a unique opportunity to work across our entire catchment area, providing both variation in work environment and valuable experience. The placements vary based on the needs of the organization and your own preferences. Working hours are scheduled for evenings, weekends, and public holidays, that is, when the health centers are closed.

About us

Within Basal Home Care, we usually work on behalf of health centers or family doctor clinics when they are closed – evenings, nights, and weekends. Our teams are based in five geographical locations in Stockholm County. Aleris Basal Home Care is part of Aleris Primary Care, which also includes ASIH, two specialized palliative care departments, Rehab Station, and Uppsala Urgent Care.

The role

In the role of nursing assistant, you will be delegated tasks by a nurse, and your responsibilities include medication administration, insulin, feeding tubes, stomas, inhalation, and basic wound care. We document in the TakeCare journal system and use Epsilon as a work tool to plan shifts. With us, you always have an administrative team that helps plan and structure the work. Together, we work to create safe and quality care for our patients.

You will work from the office that covers the current shift, which can be in Farsta, Täby, Sollentuna, Upplands Väsby, Bromma, or at Sabbatsberg Hospital. Patients are located within defined geographical areas around each office. You will travel using our environmentally classified cars or on foot, depending on which unit and route you are working in.

In this role, you will report to the Deputy Resource and Service Manager and be part of a flexible and coordinated staffing group that works across our entire organization.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained nursing assistant and holds a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Has previous experience with delegated tasks
• Has good computer skills and experience with the Take Care journal system
• Holds a B driver's license
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is also highly meritorious if you have previously worked in home care. We see that you are independent and responsible with a good ability to handle changing situations calmly and focused. At the same time, you work in a structured and methodical way, even at a fast pace. For us, it is also important that you have a patient focus.
