We at Vår Omtanke are now looking for a man who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client in Järfälla. In this role, you will make a difference in a person's life and work with us towards our vision – Everyone has the right to a good life.

About the position

You will work as a personal assistant for a 27-year-old man with a neuromuscular disease. Every other week he lives with his mother in Viksjö Järfälla and every other week with his father near Jakobsbergs station (where there are two dogs), so it is important to consider the other family members. The client needs help with practical aspects of daily life, from assistance with transfers, toilet visits, and preparing meals to simple household chores such as doing dishes, cleaning, shoveling snow, and similar tasks that a 27-year-old would do at home, as well as support during potential activities. He enjoys photography and computers, which take up much of his waking time. He hears a little worse and may find it a bit difficult to be social, which means that you as an assistant need to be a bit proactive in your conversation while also being empathetic and giving him plenty of personal space.

This position is especially suitable for a student with few mandatory classes. Who are you?

If you have experience working as a personal assistant in a family, it is a plus. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Working hours and employment rate:

The shifts are scheduled 1-2 days per week, weekdays without weekends every other week from 08:30 to 17:00 and every other week from 08:00 to 18:30 with 4-6 weeks off in the summer. There are also shifts every other weekend from 11:00 to 16:00. More shifts may be available if needed. No work on evenings or public holidays unless otherwise agreed. The position is approximately 50%. If you have access to a car and a driver's license, there is also the possibility to work some weeks in the summer at the summer house in Norrtälje.

Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, other compensation according to collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or in August, but the introduction must be done by June at the latest.
