About the client:

A cautious young man in his late teens with challenges regarding fine and gross motor skills, which means he moves around in a wheelchair. He is now looking for an initiative-taking and encouraging man to do activities with. He enjoys visiting museums, possibly training, and meeting friends (you should keep a bit in the background).

Qualifications/requirements for the companion:

• Preferably a student
• Male
• Aged 25-40
• Experience as a personal assistant or similar
• Comfortable assisting with toilet visits

About the position:

Approximately 20 hours/month. To be performed on weekday afternoons/evenings or weekends. Start as soon as possible.

As a companion, you will accompany a client with a disability on various activities. This may involve shopping, visiting museums, or perhaps having a coffee. As a respite provider, you relieve family members, for example, a child with a disability at home or in the local area. This can be so that parents can have some personal time with other siblings.
